Estudios Sociales
(Social Studies) is a journal of scientific research, sponsored and
published by the Regional Development Coordinating Center of Food Research
and Development, Civil Association (CIAD, AC). It is located in Hermosillo,
Sonora, México.
Its Editorial Advisory Board is composed of researchers from major
institutions in México, Latin America, North America and Europe. The
scholars are the leaders in their fields, with expertise covering all areas
of the journal. Issues are peer reviewed.
Through the journal Estudios Sociales,
Revista de Investigación Científica, CIAD
opens an editorial space for a high level scientific thinking. The ability
to provide effective solutions to social problems and the quality of its
content is reflected in numerous academic awards both inside and outside the
country. The Journal seeks to expand the frontiers of knowledge, and to
raise social welfare through proposals research on regional development.
Started in 1990, the journal biannually publishes articles, essays and
reviews in the area of Social Sciences. It contains topics such as politics,
economic development, social issues, food and education. Articles are in
English, French, Spanish and Portuguese organized in more than 200 pages per
issue.
Estudios Sociales,
Revista de Investigación Científica
is published biannually and distributed to major libraries and universities
in the Americas with which it has exchange programs.
