Economía Mexicana Nueva Época (Mexican Economy magazine New Era) is an academic journal published by the Center for Economic Investigation and Teaching (CIDE) in México. The primary aims of the journal are to publish original research to contribute to economic development and to further real world application of economic principles. Economía Mexicana Nueva Época is recognized by the National Council for Culture and Arts (CONACYT), as well as major departments of economics at renowned universities and other major journals in the field.

The quality and diversity of the up-to-date articles and the topics they cover have positioned Economía Mexicana Nueva Época as a reference for researchers, students and all those interested in Economics.  The journal binds the study and practice of economics, and creates a space that welcomes authors from the private and public sectors, as well as academics and young researchers.

Economía Mexicana Nueva Época welcomes unpublished papers. The journal accepts and publishes papers in English or Spanish. Abstracts for all papers are presented in both English and Spanish. Lat-Am Studies Full-Text carries all articles from the present back to Volume I of 1992.
