The Estudios Sobre las Culturas Contemporáneas journal publishes
original contemporary cultural research and theoretical and methodological
reflection papers.
The journal is published by the Universidad Autónoma del Estado de México
which ensures dedication and excellence. It is peer reviewed by a Council of
Editors as well as the Evaluators of ESCC. The journal looks to advance
research and analysis of culture through reading and discussion of academic
papers presented for examination.
According to the Evaluation Criteria, every paper should be written
specifically for ESCC and include:

Clear focus on the issues related with the problems of contemporary
culture.

Temporary relevance.

Contribution to studies of social sciences.

Solid source of information.
The Journal ESCC contains the following types of papers:

Articles of Scientific Research: describing results of original research
on books or book chapters.

Scientific Essays: presenting argumentative exercises of ideas about a
question, hypothesis or central goal.

Reviews: publishing descriptions or criticism about monographs,
consulting books or textbooks.
Estudios Sobre las Culturas Contemporáneas is published in Spanish.
