Co-herencia
(Co-inheritance) is the journal of humanities of the University EAFIT in
Medellin, capital of the Department (state) of Antioquia, Colombia.
The University EAFIT was recognized with the Institutional Accreditation by
the Ministry of Education in May 1971. It currently has a student population
of over seven thousand pupils which include undergraduate and postgraduate
students. Its mission is to contribute to the social, economic, scientific
and cultural development of Colombia. It works in an environment of
ideological pluralism and academic excellence for the training of
internationally competent persons and the performance of applied scientific
research. The University permanently interacts with business, government
other academic institutions. EAFIT is the first University in Colombia to
make the environment a component of its academic offerings and practices.
EAFIT assumes a socially responsible position in managing and supporting
culture, art and creativity. Throughout the journal Co-herencia the
University promotes peer research, dialogue, theoretical debates and
exchanges in the humanities and social disciplines. It collects and
circulates productions written by members of the Humanities Department, the
University and the academic community nationally and internationally.
Inclusion in the journal is determined by strict eligibility criteria and a
rigorous selection process. This is accomplished through the collaborative
efforts of a team of designers, artists, expert jurors, reviewers, an
editorial team and advisory committee composed of members from Colombia,
Argentina and Mexico
