Archipelago. Revista Cultural de Nuestra América (cultural journal of our America) is a publication created in the Federal District of Mexico in 1992. It is the journal of a vast project which aims to culturally integrate Latin America and the Caribbean, including its migrants in other latitudes. Consistent with history, it builds bridges to Spain and Portugal and the idea of a Latin America that it is derived. It is published jointly by the Center for Research on Latin America and the Caribbean - CIALC at the National Autonomous University of Mexico, and has the recognition of UNESCO's representation in Mexico.

The journal contains high quality representative examples of thought, memory and of scientific, literary and artistic creations from Latin America, the Caribbean, Spain and Portugal. It also includes contributions from other regions considered of particular interest. It seeks to keep balance in the diversity of subjects, genres and nationalities as well as the participation of renowned personalities and new authors, mainly young.
