Academia, Revista Latinoamericana de Administración
is a biannual publication of the Latin American Council of Management
Schools (CLADEA). The Management School at the University of the Andes,
Bogotá, contributes to the editing and publication of the journal.
CLADEA is one of the largest networks of business schools worldwide. This
organization provides a system of international cooperation and membership
links with leading academic institutions in the world.
It
has 140 affiliated business schools from Latin America, North America,
Europe and Oceania. All of them are institutions of higher education and are
dedicated to teaching and research in the area of public and private
management.
Academia, Revista Latinoamericana de Administración
was launched in 1988; to promote quality work on empirical and theoretical
research in the field of management in Latin America. The journal publishes:

Articles resulted of research and grounded in solid theoretical and
empirical bases.

Teaching Cases.

Essays and reflections on teaching and research in management.

Bibliographies of books published by professors in the last decade.

Reviews of relevant books in the Latin American context.
Articles are evaluated anonymously by members of CLADEA schools and/or
members of the editorial committee.
The journal is aimed at university audiences of an advanced level. It is
open to the diversity of perspectives and methodologies in the management
and related disciplines. Papers in Spanish, Portuguese and English are
accepted. The articles have an international comparative nature focused on
Latin America.
Academia, Revista Latinoamericana de Administración
publishes in May and November. It is distributed in physical form to partner
schools and to libraries of other institutions. It is available on line in
LatAm-Studies.
